A - If a floor has severe gaps between the boards or exposed bare wood, moisture could penetrate between the boards and result in board cupping. In these cases, dry screening would be preferable. Prior to dry screening, we recommend tacking the floor several times with terry cloth towels that have been soaked in a 2 oz. per gallon solution of Super ShineAll' and wrung out. This should be followed by tacking with towels that have been soaked and wrung out in clean water, Repeat this tacking process until all dirt is removed.
