A - Yes. When preparing the floor, it is extremely important to remove any dust, grit, lint, and other debris from the floor before applying seal or finish. Any debris that is left on the floor may become embedded in the film of the higher solids product. When the film dries, this debris is more readily seen in these coatings as compared to the lower solids products on the market. Srhall bubbles may form around the debris, resulting in a blemished appearance. After tacking the floor with Hillyard Kleen-Up Solvent or Court Prep' we recommend the floor be tacked a final time with cleaning cloths similar to the Chicopee Stretch 'n Dust*, Hillyard Item No. CH1415.
