COURTSPORTS COMPANY PROFILE

FOUNDER OF COURTSPORTS INC.

Erik Sigurdson - President/CEO - founded Courtsports Inc. in 1996. His court flooring experience actually began at the age 10 when he put on his first uniform and played organized basketball at Seaside Heights Elementary School in Seaside, Oregon. In 1981 Dave Twardzik (who was the starting point guard for the 1977 Portland Trail Blazers championship team) traveled to Seaside for a basketball clinic that Erik participated in. Erik was amazed at his ball handling abilities. Erik continued to play organized basketball through high school and into college. Erik enrolled at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon where he played basketball and baseball. He became the team captain of the varsity men's basketball team his senior year and most improved player. In addition to his love for the sport of basketball, Erik is an exceptional artist---his "canvasses" are seen throughout the Pacific Northwest and Western half of the United States.
